    Welcome Message

    Greetings to all stakeholders of the Falcon Zone.  The 2024-2025 school year at Velma Jackson High School (VJHS) is underway.  I am Mr. Rodney Dent, the Algebra 1 teacher here at VJHS.  I also serve as a football coach.  I am a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and the University of Mississippi.  This is my 24th year as a teacher and coach.  I am looking forward to assisting in making this year the best!
