Mrs. King

This is my 8th year at LBE and I am so excited! I am originally from Birmingham, AL and graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2015 with a bachelor's in Special Education, and in 2016 with a master's in Special Education. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher as of December 2022!

I believe that all students are capable of academic success if they are provided with a positive environment, enriched learning and content, and engaging teachers and facilitators. I believe that all students deserve every opportunity for personal and academic achievement, and it is our job as teachers to open these doors for them and encourage them along the way. I know that with the collaboration of school staff, students, and parents, the 2024-25 school year can be a Falcon Victory!
