Welcome Message

Welcome to my class! My name is Michelle Brister and I teach Algebra 1 & 2. I received my Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University. I have taught for 21 years and this is my fifth year teaching at Germantown High School!!! 

In my math class, I do my best to show my students that math is useful and applicable! I also HEAVILY utilize “student-parent-teacher friendly” notes. Please take advantage of this resource to help your child at home. Also, you can check Canvas for listings of classwork, homework and upcoming tests!

Please know that I truly love what I do. Your child is in good hands when he/she enters my room. If there is anything I can do to help, do not hesitate to let me know!

I am married to Robert and we have 3 kids: Chris (12th grade), Chloe (9th), and Colton (6th). I enjoy "Amazoning" (if that's even a hobby), loaded teas, traveling, and going to football games.
