    2018-2019

Hello! As we progress through the 2018-2019 school year, my goal is to have a place of growing knowledge and acceptance in my classroom. I'm looking forward to working towards a
    successful year together.
I am a native of Canton, Mississippi and I attended Jackson State University where I received a Bachelors and Masters degree in History. I am currently pursuing a Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision-K-12. I am also seeking National Board Certification in the developmental level of Adolescence through Young Adult. All of this helps me to help your child become more successful and I am passionate about preparing them academically as well as for life. This is my fifth year teaching. I have previously served as Cheerleading Coach and Social Science Club Sponsor for two years. I am a member of New Truelight M.B. Church in Canton serving as Usher and Choir Member. I am a current PTA member, HS-Basketball, AAU, and Band Booster Club mom. I have one son in high school. We call him Jay and I love him very much! Therefore, I can relate to the educational hopes
    you have for your child.
I have a love for learning and I hope to instill that same passion in my students. By making my classroom a safe, fun, and managed environment for them, they will be able to learn something new everyday. I feel that all children are different and require attention and affection for them to flourish. I will strive to be that nurturing teacher for my students. I believe that a successful year starts with an open line of communication between parents and teachers. Please feel free to call (601-855-2406 ext. 1520) or email (tware@madison-schools.com) me anytime you have any concerns. Also with any emails sent, please allow me until the end of the day to respond.
    Thank you!
