•  A Message from Dr. Nicole Cockrell

I am excited to serve as the principal at Mannsdale Upper Elementary. Before becoming the principal, I had the pleasure of serving as the assistant principal and literacy specialist.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Delta State University. I also completed my Master's and Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College. I recently defended my dissertation and earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership.

My husband, Demetrous, and I have three children, Demetrous, Jr., Cameron, and Caitlin, who keep us busy. We enjoy bowling, playing miniature golf, swimming, hanging out, watching movies, and laughing. One of my favorite pastimes is reading and researching everything involving education. I do read for pleasure, too! 😃

I look forward to working with you to ensure your child's success.

It is truly a great day to be a Maverick! Especially at Mannsdale Upper Elementary School!
