    Titans, 

    As an English teacher, I get to do what I love doing, and that is --- teaching!

    I am so excited to have your child in my English II class this year. A graduate of Thee I Love Jackson State University, I have taught English for twenty-one years. (Sixteen of those years were spent teaching APAC [Academic and Performing Arts Complex] English students for Jackson Public Schools). This school year is my sixth year as a proud Titan!

    You can find my Syllabus, Rules and Regulations, Assignments, and other pertinent information on Canvas. Additionally, you'll be asked to sign up for Remind so that you can keep up with alerts and reminders.

    When I'm not in the classroom, I'm usually writing creative stories. Maybe one day - after I finish writing it - you'll read my New York Times best seller. In the meantime, I'll be in room 247 teaching and being inspired by our multi-talented Titan Scholars.
