My name is Sarah Dickerson and this will be my 6th year teaching! I am so excited for this year. I grew up in Madison County Schools and even went to Madison Station. I have known since kindergarten that when I grew up I wanted to be a teacher. This past summer I got married to Kyle, who is a charge nurse at Blair E. Batson! We have a six year old Shih Tzu and we just adopted a hound dog puppy! In my spare time, I am reading, running, or spending time outdoors with friends and family.
A vital part of your child's education is our relationship. It's important that you and I have a great rapport so that you feel involved and I know what your child might need more help in. If you ever feel that you have any questions (no matter how small they may seem to you) about what we are teaching, and even why, please don't hesitate to ask. I am here to help you and help your child! :)
One of MSE's goals this year is to find a way to make a difference. It would be great if you could help your child understand the impact that he or she has every day. We will be discussing several ways that each person can make a difference in someone else's life. No matter how small.
Let's have a great year!!
