My name is Sarah Miller and this will be my 5th year teaching! I am so excited for this year. I grew up in Madison County Schools and even went to Madison Station. I have known since kindergarten that when I grew up I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from MCHS and went to Holmes.
After attending MCHS and Holmes, I went to Southern Miss where I got my BS in Elementary Ed with certifications/ minors in reading, social studies, and Spanish.
My favorite things to do on the weekend are reading, watching movies, and cheering on the MSU Bulldogs and my USM Golden Eagles! SMTTT and Hail State!
As previously stated, this will be my fifth year teaching- I taught second in Magee for two years and this will be my third year at MSE. I've been teaching first, but am beyond thrilled to move back to second!
A vital part of your child's education is our relationship. It's important that you and I have a great rapport so that you feel involved and I know what your child might need more help in. If you ever feel that you have any questions (no matter how small they may seem to you) about what we are teaching, and even why, please don't hesitate to ask. I am here to help you and help your child! :)
One of MSE's goals this year is to find a way to make a difference. It would be great if you could help your child understand the impact that he or she has every day. We will be discussing several ways that each person can make a difference in someone else's life. No matter how small.
Let's have a great year!!
