    Hello!
Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences at Germantown High School. I am Elizabeth Templeton and this year I will be teaching Family Dynamics, Nutrition & Wellness, and CCR-B.  I am also one of the instructors for the Maverick Mentoring program at Germantown.

    Introduction:
My education journey began at Mississippi State University and I graduated from Mississippi College. I earned two degrees from MC, one in Education and the other in Family and Consumer Sciences. I am certified to teach Family and Consumer Sciences 9-12, Social Studies 7-12, AP World History: Modern, Elementary K-4, and Health Education 9-12. I have taught in the Madison County School District for quite a while; this will be my twenty-fourth year as an educator. My teaching career has been in middle and high school settings, teaching a variety of Social Studies and Family & Consumer Science Courses.
I grew up in this area and Madison has been home for over twenty-six years. My husband and I have three sons and a daughter-in-law, all graduates of the Madison County School District. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

    Course Information:
Students may access all course information through their Canvas account. Daily agendas, files, and assignments are uploaded by unit and class meeting dates. Each course syllabus is also posted for student reference.

I am looking forward to a great school year at Germantown High School.

    Go Mavericks!
