Welcome to your Senior Year! The completion of twelve years of pre-college education is an epic deed worthy of celebration. In this course we will be building upon the abilities you already own. We will work to sharpen your skills in reading, writing, and public speaking. Our focus will be a survey of British literature (and William Faulkner -- "The American Shakespeare"), and you will master outside reading requirements. Writing assignments will range from informal responses to formal literary analyses. Grammar practices will concentrate on advanced skills necessary for success in college, in the workplace, and in the military service branches. All lessons and homework assignments are posted on the Lesson Plans Blog under the English IV heading.
