    Welcome Message

I am so happy to be back at Highland for the fifth year and excited to welcome back Lorraine Ransom to our classroom.  We also welcome Janice McBride to our team. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your children. We have so many exciting plans for the new school year and will be learning something new every day.  My goals for this school year is to show growth in each of my students, foster a sense of pride and belonging in my students, and create an environment that is fun, inviting and encouraging.  You should expect homework to come home on Tuesdays and is due back on Friday morning.  Signed papers will go home on Friday afternoon and are due back signed the following Monday.  I am available to discuss your student at any time.  Please contact me at 601-853-8103 or dmorgan@madison-schools.com.

    About the Teacher

I (Mrs. Morgan) have been in education for 40 years and love working with children of all ages and levels.  I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master's degree from Mississippi College.  I have previously taught in Lamar County, Washington County,  North Richland Hills, TX, and at Canton Academy.  I specialize in working with students with Intellectual Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Social Disabilities.
