His interest and focus on developing each student as a whole person is commendable. He will continue to bring out the best in Germantown and, I believe, Germantown will bring out the best in him.”
When asked about his retirement, Mr. Poore stated, “I am currently completing my 30th year in education, with the last 21 having served as an administrator in Madison County Schools. It has been my honor and privilege to have worked alongside the very best teachers, staff, and administrators in this country, and to have served some of the best students and parents in the world. I will be eternally grateful to God for the opportunities these years have provided me, but most importantly for the wonderful relationships that He has blessed me with along the way.”
