Welcome to 6th Grade Science!

I am so excited to be teaching your students this year at Old Town! I have been in the classroom for 20 years and this is my 11th year at OTMS. 

I am married to my wonderful husband Brian and we have two daughters, Clare (26) and Erin (23). We are all huge Mississippi State fans and enjoy spending time at MSU watching both baseball and football.  

I truly believe that each and every student is capable of learning. In our classroom, your student will be participating in hands-on activities, student-led discussions, Canvas assignments, and project-based learning activities. The best tool your student can have in my classroom is a positive outlook and a hard work ethic. We will work together to make sure that learning is our top priority. Some suggestions for staying organized in my classroom:

1. A 3 ring binder (2 inch)

2. Pencils/ Pens

3. 1 pack of colored pencils

4. Personal pencil sharpener

5. Chromebook that is fully charged each day

6. Note cards
