Hello! Welcome to Coach Glover's home page. I am very excited about teaching World Geography, Advanced World Geography, and World History. My name is James Peter Glover. I was born in Flowood, Mississippi and graduated from Jackson Prep. I played football at Mississippi College and Belhaven University before deciding to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in secondary education with an emphasis on Social Studies. I also have my Masters in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. I have been married for 15 years to my wife Tiffany who is a 6th grade math teacher at Northwest Rankin Middle School. We both have two daughters, Sybil Grace 12 and Merrian 8. I enjoy coaching high school softball and my daughters' tournament teams. I also coach a my daughter soccer team and my hobbies are listening to music, going to concerts, watching wrestling, and working out. This will be my 16th year in education and 10th year at Ridgeland High School and I can not tell you how great of a high school Ridgeland is. I am looking forward to the school year. I am a floater so I do not have a home classroom. I treat my class as an online class, since everything I have will be loaded onto canvas.
