    About the Teacher

     

    Hello parents and students, 
     
    My name is Shelby Jo Martin and I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade Eastern Hemisphere, as well as 7th grade World Geography & MS Studies! A little about me: I graduated from Madison Central in 2009 then Mississippi State in 2013! I was born and raised in Madison, and was a jaguar K-12; It is such an honor to be working in one of the wonderful schools I attended!! I have a 5 year old son, James, and a 3 year old daughter, Willa Rose, with my husband, Bradley.
    We are in for a fabulous, fun-filled year. I cannot wait to meet all of you soon. :)

     

     
    If you want to keep up with what's going on generally in our class, please visit my homework blog. It is important that you understand daily assignments will not be posted to this page. It is your student's responsibility, as a middle schooler, to be present in class and aware of their assignments day-to-day. On the blog I will post things like major test dates, important dates/information, and extra credit rubrics.
