About the Teacher
My name is Candace Burton. I am married and have one little boy. I live in Flora and love being able to teach in the community in which I live. This is my eleventh year teaching at East Flora Elementary. I graduated from Delta State University and then received my Masters and Specialist degrees from William Carey University. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the upcoming school year. I know we will have a fun, educational, and overall fantastic time here at East Flora Elementary. I have so many great things planned, and many ideas to share with your child. I know how much you care about your child's education, and I will do everything I can to ensure their success. I know that together we can build a group of responsible, independent, lifelong learners. It is extremely important that we maintain a close relationship regarding your child.
