I am so excited to start this new school. The students are going to be learning so much each day while actively engaging in learning stations and classroom discussions. I love to see the excitement in their faces as they conquer each skill that is mastered and how they are able to carry that skill to a deeper level of understanding. This is my 16th year at Camden Elementary, and I am so excited that I will be able to provide the best instruction that I can. I am going to be able to watch these students apply what they learned in second grade and grow each day with new understandings of the concepts that they mastered last year.

 I am very excited about this year and all the wonderful students and staff that I encounter daily.  Please know that I will be working hard behind the scenes daily to help this classroom excell. I know there will be bumps along the way for all of us, but the teachers in MCSD are up for the challenge.  My students will be required to work hard daily and learn how to "dig deep within each text" that we read. We all have to work hard daily to reach our full potential. 

We plan to spend a lot of time working on writing across the curriculum during the school year.  We will be writing across the curriculum to fully incorporate our school theme. This will allow us to work on increasing our vocabulary while working on our Language Arts standards.
