About Me!
Hey everyone! This will be my 8th year at Germantown High School. I love being a Maverick!
My family and I are most recently from Charlotte, North Carolina but have live in a bunch of different places. We spent three years in London, England when my husband, Bob, was a Marine (Semper Fi). We had our oldest son while we lived there. When his tour was over, we moved back to Northern Virginia, where we grew up. Since then we have lived in Texas and North Carolina. We have three sons, Andy (29), Josh (25) and Troy (20). All of our sons are currently living with us in Madison which been a blessing during this pandemic because we have gotten to spend time together that we may not have been able to do since we're not traveling. Speaking of traveling, we love to travel! Some of my favorite places are Seattle, Washington, the National Parks and Budapest, Hungary. In my spare time I read, exercise, work in the yard and hang out with my family. Oh, and I love Grey's Anatomy!
You could say that I am passionate about education and I love to learn. Teaching is my second career however I have always worked with students in some capacity. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Special Education. In August 2020, I reentered the world of higher education again to pursue a degree that will allow me to be a school administrator.
