About the Teacher
I am an 19 year teaching veteran, and this is my 6th year teaching biology in Madison County Schools! I LOVE teaching at both Rosa Scott and Madison Middle, even though it makes me a little hard to catch up with! Both schools are awesome and offer students a unique educational experience. The other part of my career was spent at St. Joseph Catholic School where I taught Biology I Honors, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and AP Biology. I am a graduate of Millsaps College and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with special emphasis in secondary education. I LOVE teaching biology, and can't wait to meet all of my new students this year! I am happily married (13 years) and have two children, Mary Palmer (age 11) and Thomas (age 6). We currently live in Vaughan along with our 2 pups Rey and Maddie, kitten Midnight, and turtle Sheldon. The picture below is old, but I love it because it really captures the spirit of my family!
