    Welcome to 6th grade English Language Arts! 

    I'm very excited about our upcoming year together! This is my 12th year here at Madison Middle teaching English Language Arts. I taught 4th grade at Mannsdale Elementary for three years. I earned my BA in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. Go DAWGS!! I obtained my Master's from Arkansas State. I am certified to teach grades 7-12 in Language arts, reading, math, and social studies. I am a National Board Certificated Teacher. I am a huge Mississippi State Bulldog fan and teach online courses for education majors at MSU. I grew up in Searcy, Arkansas, but I moved to Madison as a teenager and graduated from Madison Central. My husband, Bryant, and I have two sons Tyler who is in fifth grade at Station, and Myles who is four years old. We also have a silver lab named Baylee.  It's a GREAT day to be a jaguar...especially at Madison Middle.
