    Hello parents,
I would like to introduce myself to you and express my sincere delight of being a MADISON JAGUAR! I am eager to be working with your child this year and helping them reach their potential in our Special Education Program. My family and I moved to Madison from Slidell, Louisiana in 2009.  The children and I have fallen in love with the city of Madison during the past nine years! I have been teaching for twenty-one years. I was a Special Education IEP Facilitator in St. Tammany, LA for seven years. I earned my BA degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing from Southeastern Louisiana University and later returned to S.L.U. for my Special Education degree and certification. I truly love to work with students that have disabilities and help them reach their goals. I have a vested interest in the schools of Madison County Schools,  due to the fact that middle child, Bailey,  just graduated in 2018 from GHS with honors. She will attend Ole Miss in the fall. My youngest son, Braxton,  is a freshman at GHS and is a member of the GHS baseball team.  It is my desire to help your child be the best that they can be! I know that you will work with me this year as we will expect to see great things from our class! I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your child and look forward to meeting each and everyone of you!
