Welcome back. I hope you are ready for a great year of English, PSAT Prep, Oral Communications, and soccer. If you have any questions, I am easy to reach by email.
About the Teacher
A native of Clinton, I graduated from Mississippi College in 2006 with a degree in English and again in 2014 with a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I played soccer at both Clinton High School and Mississippi College. I am heavily involved with Brilla Soccer Ministries, and I have had the privilege to travel to several countries--England, Scotland, Spain, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras--and play against local teams there. I have also gotten to teach youth soccer camps all over the US.
The 2018-19 school year is my twelfth year to teach English and my seventh at Germantown. I have been married for almost ten years to a former English teacher. We have four children: twin girls (2011) and two boys (2014, 2015). When I am not working, I enjoy reading and playing board games. I enjoy those things while working, too, but the board games are harder to work into the curriculum.
