    About the Teacher

It has been a pleasure to serve students in Madison County. For the past 24 years I have served as an elementary classroom teacher, a curriculum specialist, an assistant principal, and a head principal.  I have a Bachelors degree from Rust College (Holly Springs, Mississippi) and a Masters and Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Jackson State University.  I have had the opportunity to receive specialized training in educational administration from Millsaps College and Harvard University.  I have worked with parents and students in the Ridgeland, Velma Jackson, and Gluckstadt zone.  I am always pleased to let others know that I was born and raised in Madison County and received all of my educational foundation through the Madison County School District.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children Khalil and Kennedy.
