    Welcome to Algebra 1 and Geometry!  I'm Ms. Fletcher and I am looking forward to teaching students to be independent, critical, and creative thinkers!  I know if we all work towards this common goal, this school year will be successful and productive!

    I earned my B.S. in computer science from Prairie View University in Texas and worked in the aerospace industry for 4 years as a software engineer.  I then decided to pursue my passion, teaching, and earned my teaching credential in mathematics from University of California in Long Beach.  I taught middle school and high school math for 12 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District.  This is my 9th year teaching at Madison Middle School.  I am a National Board Certified teacher in Mathematics.
