    About the Teacher

My name is Pam Evans. I am happy to say that I teach Kindergarten at Mannsdale Elementary. I have been teaching in Madison County since graduating from Mississippi State University. I have a degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with endorsements in Reading (K-12). I also have my Master's Degree in Education from William Carey University. I hope to be a life-long learner and educator. I want to be the best teacher for your child.
This will be my tenth year at MES. I've been teaching at Mannsdale since we opened, that year I was chosen as Mannsdale's firstTeacher of the Year. Before coming to Mannsdale, I taught kindergarten and first grade at Madison Station Elementary. I also taught kindergarten at East Flora Elementary and Flora Elementary. I love Mannsdale and am so proud to be part of the Mannsdale family!
My husband Mike and I have three sons and a growing family. All three of our boys attended Madison County Schools.
We stay busy with family (grandbabies!), friends, church and life. I also love to read, watch movies and SEC football.
To reach me, email is best pevans@madison-schools.com. You can send notes in our daily folder or call the school and I will return your call, 601-879-0309.
I am looking forward to a great year! I hope that our classroom will be a place that we learn, love, create, solve, explore, discover and care. Kindergarten and "kindergarteners" are the best!
I am pleased to say that Mrs. Jordan Jones is working with me this year. Mrs Jones grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison Central. She has a degree from Mississippi State University and is a huge Bulldog fan. She and her husband Brad love spending time in the country fishing and hunting. They just welcomed their first child this fall and he is precious and handsome and all good things! She and her family also have a super cute little dog, Penelope.
