Welcome Message (last updated April 2, 2020)

I hope you're doing well during this unprecedented school shut down.  I have scanned and placed lessons 19-21 of the vocabulary book for students to be examining on Canvas along with the word maps to each lesson.  I have also scanned Act I-V of Hamlet into Canvas along with the review pages that go with each Act.  The novel Frankenstein is also uploaded on Canvas and can be downloaded onto their computers for free.  Each section review sheet for Frankenstein is also available on Canvas.

Week of March 23-27: Students need to be reviewing lesson 19 of the vocabulary book.  They need to read Act I of Hamlet and complete the Canvas quiz on the Act.  They must also continue reading the novel Frankenstein chapters 6-10 and complete the quiz on Canvas.  All quizzes will give the student two attempts and will show the highest score of the two attempts online.  Each week I will add another Act of Hamlet and more chapters of Frankenstein to be quizzed on until the end of the year.  Research paper deadline has been extended until early May and will now need to only be submitted online to Canvas anytime between now and the end of the school year.  Notecards and source cards are no longer required to be turned in.

Week of March 30 - April 3: Seniors need to review lesson 20 vocabulary words.  They need to read chapters 11-16 of Frankenstein and complete the Canvas quiz which is set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.  They will also need to read Act II of Hamlet and complete the Hamlet Act II quiz on Canvas which is also set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.

Week of April 6-10: Seniors need to review lesson 21 vocabulary words.  They need to read chapters 17-21 of Frankenstein and complete the Canvas quiz which is set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.  They will also need to read Act III of Hamlet and complete the Hamlet Act III quiz on Canvas which is also set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.

The week of April 13 - 17 seniors need to read chapters 22-24 and letter 4 of Frankenstein and complete the Canvas quiz which is set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.  They will also need to read Act IV of Hamlet and complete the Hamlet Act IV quiz on Canvas which is also set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.

The weeks of April 20 - May 1 seniors need to take the Frankenstein test on Canvas which is set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.  They will also need to read Act V of Hamlet and complete the Hamlet Act V quiz on Canvas which is also set to two attempts as they will not have classroom instruction.
