The mission of the Volunteer Club is to get students involved in the community through service activities. Community service refers to voluntary, unpaid acts of assistance performed by individuals or groups, primarily to benefit others. The Volunteer Club’s goal is to inspire our students to be productive lifelong community service leaders by encouraging a commitment to civic participation.

SERVICE CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES FOR OCTOBER
Campus Clean-up Day – October 19th (Saturday)
- Students who attend and help will receive 5 service credits.
Veterans Day Cards- sent home October 16th due back October 23rd
- Students who bring back 2 cards will receive 5 service credits
City of Ridgeland Trunk or Treat (last week of October -date not set yet)
- Students who bring 2 bags of wrapped candy will receive 3 service credits.
- Students who sign up to work a shift for the “trunk” at the event will receive 5 service credits.
** STUDENTS MUST EARN 15 SERVICE CREDITS BY DECEMBER 13TH IN ORDER TO STAY IN VOLUNTEER CLUB.**
