TITAN VOLUNTEER CLUBSponsors: Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. SiegalThe mission of the Volunteer Club is to get students involved in the community through service activities. Community service refers to voluntary, unpaid acts of assistance performed by individuals or groups, primarily to benefit others. The Volunteer Club’s goal is to inspire our students to be productive lifelong community service leaders by encouraging a commitment to civic participation.

If you are interested in being a part of the Olde Towne Middle School Volunteer Club, please pick up a form (found in any of the three sponsors' rooms), complete it, and return to Mrs. Hurst (Rm 112) or Mrs.Siegal (Rm 110). This is due by September 16th. Students may also purchase a Volunteer Club T-Shirt for $12. The size and money must be turned in with the form on September 16th. Students are not required to purchase a T-Shirt.
Requirements: Be in the 8th Grade
Expectations: 1st Semester- participate in 2 of the 4 volunteer activities
2nd Semester- participate in 2 of the 3 volunteer activities
*If a student receives two or more office referrals, they will

and happies for the Waterford Retirement Community.
Thursday, December 1st: Students need to be at the Waterford Retirement
Community directly after school to deliver Christmas Cards and happies to the residents of retirement community. Students need to be picked up by 5:00.2nd Semester Volunteer Activities (NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN 3):*Exact Dates will be announced at our first meeting in January.
Thursday, January 19th: Stay after school until 4:30 to make Valentine's Day Cards for all the staff at OTMS.Tuesday, February 28th: Read to students at Ann Smith & Highland Elementary. Eat lunch at the Food Court at Northpark Mall.- permission slip required. List of students attending is outside Mrs. Siegal's room.Friday, March 10th: Work the Wheel Chair Basketball Game during Pep Rally Schedule- OTMS Volunteer Club's fundraiser.April (TBA): OTMS Campus Clean Up Day from 8:30-12:00.
