    Christine Martin

Welcome to Art at SSMS! I am Mrs. Martin and I have taught at SSMS since 2008.

I earned my masters degree in education from Belhaven, bachelor degree in art education at Mississippi College & associate degree in art from Holmes.

My favorite art medium is colored pencil.

I grew up in Lexington, MS. I now live outside of Canton with my husband, 2 daughters, and several labrador retrievers. I enjoy being outside, working on projects around the house, gardening, and riding atvs with my family.

I can't wait to meet you (or see you again) soon in the art room!!!

Note about COVID: As a wife and parent, I realize that keeping our families healthy is a major concern as we go back to school. Your child's health is a top priority to me. In the art room I have procedures in place to follow health safety precautions as much as possible. Feel free to email me if you have questions about art room safety precautions.
