Madison Avenue Elementary

Welcome to 2nd-grade PAthways! I am excited to spend the year with your child! We will work together to learn what it means to be gifted and how to use our special gifts and talents to be the BEST we can be!

This is my 25th year in education.  I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education.  I received my Master's in Gifted and Talented from Arkansas State University.  I began my teaching career at Madison Central and have taught all math courses from 8th-grade math through Calculus as well as 2nd- 5th grade gifted.  We recently moved back to Madison, and I am excited to be a Jaguar again!! 

I have been married to my husband, Gene, for 33 years.  We have 5 wonderful children and 1 amazing daughter-in-law.  Our youngest is a senior at Madison Central.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, water sports, and reading.
