Robinson Named Principal of Old Town Middle School
Madison County Schools is proud to announce Mr. Levi Robinson as the next principal of Old Town Middle School.
“We are delighted for Mr. Robinson to return home to Madison County Schools as lead principal at Old Town Middle,” says Madison County Schools Superintendent Charlotte Seals, “during Mr. Robinson’s six years serving as an assistant principal in our district, he was known for his expertise in education as well as his dedication to teachers and students.” For the last four years, Robinson has served as lead principal at Jefferson Middle School in Columbia, Mississippi.
Robinson began his career in education in 1996, and has served as a teacher, department chair, coach, assistant principal, and lead principal. He is a lifelong learner, having most recently earned his Specialist in Education degree in 2018. Robinson has twice been selected as Administrator of the Year while serving as a lead principal, first in 2020 and again in 2022.
"I look forward to working with teachers, parents, community, and most importantly students to continue the mission of making Old Town one of the premier middle schools in the state of Mississippi,” says Mr. Robinson, "We will do this through building relationships one student at a time and making sure that we are meeting the students’ academic needs with rigor and relevance. Old Town Middle School is home to grades six through eight in the Titan Zone of Madison County Schools. Students thrive under the care of dedicated faculty who provide students with a nurturing environment to learn and grow. Old Town provides numerous opportunities for in a variety of academic subjects, competitive athletic teams, visual arts, music programs, robotics, and more. Old Town’s current principal is leaving the role to become lead principal at Ridgeland High School, providing seamless continuity in leadership for Titan students.
Mr. Robinson will begin serving as principal of Old Town Middle School on July 1, 2022.
