Hello!

My name is Jonathan Scott. I am originally from Magnolia, MS. I graduated from from Mississippi College with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Belhaven University.

I am teaching English III (11th grade) and Creative Writing for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be an exciting year and I am looking forward to it! I believe a key factor in studying literature is to engage in conversations about it with classmates, and I hope to bring those discussions into my classroom. I am also really excited to help my students unlock their creative side as writers and thinkers.

In addition to teaching, my hobbies include writing, drawing, collecting comic books and playing drums!
