• GHS Distance Learning Schedule

    Teachers and students will engage in direct instruction, virtual lessons, small and whole group discussions and assignments.

     

              TEACHERS                                 STUDENTS        

    Will present distance learning lessons- live or pre-recorded

    Will provide assignments to be completed during and/or after distance learning class time.

    Will be available during block for tutorial and make-up work

    Will be accountable for material presented during scheduled class time

    Will be graded on assignments and assessments.

    Are responsible for completing and submitting independent assignments for distance learning days as directed

    Virtual Classroom Behavior Expectations

     *CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION:

    Find a quiet location with a school appropriate background.

     *MUTE YOUR MICROPHONE:

    Keep your mic on mute until the teacher calls on you and it’s your turn to speak. This will reduce background noise.

    *COMMUNICATION:

    Do not use the chat feature with your class unless the teacher states it is okay to do so. When using the chat feature, write using school appropriate language and remain on topic.
