11th Grade Administrator, 2020-2021 Academic Year

I always knew I wanted to be an educator.  As a young girl, I would line my dolls up across my bed and pretend to be their teacher.  I valued education and wanted to be a part of a career that touches the future.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Education from Jackson State University.  I, then, attended the University of Notre Dame for a Masters in English Literature.  Later, I completed my doctorate (Ph.D.) from JSU in Educational Administration.  I have more than 30 years as an educator.  I started my career as a teacher at Palm Harbor Middle School in Pinellas County, FL.  I returned to MS and taught in the Jackson Public Schools District.  I also had the privilege to serve as a principal of Humphreys County and McComb High Schools.

I have lived in Madison County for nearly 20 years and each of my 4 children are graduates of the Madison County School District.

I am honored to serve at Ridgeland High School as an assistant principal.

    I love my Titan family.
