  I am married with a full house - two children - one in the military who is married with a little boy (Yes!  I am a grandma!) and a little girl in 7th grade and 4 furbabies - 2 cats and 2 dogs.  My husband and I enjoy remodeling our 1898 home and refinishing vintage and antique furniture.  I also like to scrapbook, garden, and of course, READ!

  I graduated from Mississippi College with a B.A. in English and have almost completed my M.A. in English; I have over 20 years of classroom experience.  I love literature and I love teaching; it's what I do best!   

   This is my 4th year at Old Town, and I am expecting this to be the BEST year ever - It is the year of the Titans!

Reminder:  Students are required to have a 3-ring binder that is only for ELA.  A dedicated binder is a necessity since we meet daily and they have many handouts for which they are responsible.
