My name is Neely Umphlett. I know what you are thinking... "How do you pronounce that last name??!!!" It's easy if you think about it like "Umflet". :)
I am a 1999 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching in 1999 in Rankin County at Rouse Elementary in Brandon, MS. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years, and then I took a 7 year hiatus from teaching to be at home with my children. I returned to teaching in 2010, and I began teaching Kindergarten at Mannsdale Elementary School, which is one of the feeder schools for Germantown! I loved my time in kindergarten and adored those babies, but I felt God stirring my heart to work with older children. Four years ago I began teaching 6th grade ELA at GMS! I fell in love with teaching 6th grade and my GMS family!!! I am thrilled for the opportunity of this journey with you and your child.
Email is the best way to get in touch with me. :)

We have lived in Madison for 15 years and are members of Pinelake Church. We also have 3 fur babies..
