Mannsdale Elementary

Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am Karla Mitchener. I graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  This is my twentieth year teaching.  I have taught Kinder, First and Fourth grades.  Most of my time has been spent in Kindergarten, which is where my heart is. This is my sixth year teaching kindergarten at Mannsdale!

My husband, Rob, and I have been married for 17 years and have two beautiful daughters.  Adleigh is a sophomore at Germantown High and is a member of the GHS Lady Mavs soccer team.  Emme is a seventh grader at Germantown Middle School and is a member of the GMS Dance team. 

My family and I have two pets, a turtle named Owen, who is nine years old; and a two-year-old bearded dragon named Queen ElizardBeth, or Lizzie for short. 

We love spending time at soccer games, dance competitions, and cheering on our GHS Mavericks and MSU Bulldogs at different sporting events.
