 BETA CLUB MISSION STATEMENT:

MMS 6th GRADE BETA CLUB CHAPTER: 

6th grade Jr. Beta club will begin  after the 1st term report cards.  We will send out invitations to 6th grade students who are on All A honor roll after the first term.  Then those students will be able to choose to join our 6th Grade Junior Beta Club Madison Middle School Chapter.  So work hard and achieve your very best!   

Beta Club usually meets twice a month in the library at 7:50 so students will need to make arrangements to arrive on time.  Students are expected to maintain an A average in each class on each term report card.  Beta Club participates in community service projects throughout the year, both as a group as well as individually.  Students are responsible for completing a total of 10 service hours overall (Beta Club field trips and meeting attendance will also be counted into the total service hours). 

Students of 6th grade Beta club are invited to run for leadership positions such as Club President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Service Chairperson. The duties of these positions are as follows: 

President: Conduct meetings; meet with sponsors prior to the meeting and get the agenda

Vice President: If the president is absent, the vice president will take on the president's duties

Secretary: take attendance; make sure students are signing in; make announcements; hand out information/forms as needed

Treasurer: help keep track of student service hours and meeting attendance record

Service Chair: provide examples for students to service the community; promote service hours including the responsibility of getting students to share service projects they have participated in; take pictures; Beta Club scrapbook
