601-856-7121Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!
I want to share a little about myself. I started teaching at Madison Central in 2008. ! Before coming to Madison Central, I worked with the Mississippi Department of Education, taught in 2 other school districts in Mississippi---Clarke and Lowndes. I earned my Bachelor's degree at Ole Miss and my Masters at Mississippi University for Women. I grew up in a small town in Northeast Mississippi, Baldwyn. I have lived in Mississippi my whole life.
I am excited to work with you and your student this year! I enjoy teaching and students. Please make sure your contact information in Active Parent/Student is updated so we have the best contact info for you. Email is the best way to contact me. You may email me at dhanebuth@madison-schools. I encourage you to check Active Parent/Active Student frequently. The grade you see there will reflect all grades earned. The District has set a uniform grading policy for the schools. The percentages are 66% for tests, major projects, papers and 34% for daily work, class work, homework and quizzes.
I expect everyone in my class to be kind to one another. I expect us to treat others as we want to be treated. Again, I look forward to working with you and your students to make this a successful school year.
