Welcome to a fantastic year at GMS! This is my 12th year teaching and my fifth at Germantown Middle School. However, I am super excited to be moving from 7th ELA to ROBOTICS and Computer Science and Technology!

I taught 7th grade ELA for 4 years in Houma, Louisiana and 6th grade ELA, Science, and Social Studies for 3 years in Fairhope, Alabama. I have a Masters of Education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. As teaching is a second career for me, I also have an Animal Science degree and a Masters of Agribusiness Management from Mississippi State University.

My husband, Tommy, and I have 3 beautiful children (Ashby, Thomas, and Robert) who will be attending GMS and Mannsdale Upper. 

Please share with me your favorite places to shop and eat so that we can try new things! I also love to read, watch my kids play sports, travel, and worship at our church.
