Welcome to First Grade!
Welcome to first grade at Madison Station! I am so excited about having your child in my class! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.
A little bit about myself…I was born and raised in Madison, Mississippi and am a product of the Madison County School System. I attended Mississippi College where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. This is my eighth year teaching and my eighth year teaching 1st grade at Madison Station. I couldn’t be more excited about teaching at such a great school! My husband, Ryne, and I have been married for six years. We have a precious little boy named Cooper who turned two in August. We also have a Yorkie named Lucy and a Dachshund named Tally. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sports, attending Mississippi State sporting events (Go Dawgs!), spending time with family and friends, shopping, being outdoors, and traveling.
Our assistant this year is Leta Bryan. This is her fourth year as an assistant at Madison Station. She is married to her husband, Chris, and they have two sweet girls, Sadie and Sophie. Sadie is in eighth grade at Madison Middle and Sophie is in fourth grade at Madison Station. They have a cute and spunky dog named Bella. Mrs. Bryan loves being in the classroom and enjoys teaching and loving children each day!
We are very excited about the opportunity to be your child’s teacher, and we look forward to working with you this year to help your child succeed. Please know that if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year you can always feel free to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you and your child! It’s going to be a GREAT year!
