  • Science Fun Day

On October 24, the fourth and fifth grade students at MES will experience a fun day of hands-on, minds-on activities that will grab the interest of all ages. On October 24, students will use simple materials to learn science concepts such as steam energy, gravity, potential and kinetic energy, solvents, states of matter, aerodynamics, sound waves, and many, many more concepts.

You have the opportunity to teach “hands-on” fun activities to our students.  Dr. Hunt will train you to be an “expert for a day”!    The requirements are as follows:

Attend training Thursday, October 23, from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm. then work the assigned station on Friday, October 24, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.  There will be a scheduled time for lunch, which we will provide for you.  If you would like to volunteer for Science Fun Day, please email your child's teacher and we will make that happen!
