    Don't forget to "like" Mannsdale Elementary and the Mannsdale Elementary Library pages on Facebook to get frequent updates and pictures about the day-to-day life in our Mavericks.  Our library page features a "Book of the Day" to help young readers know some of the great books and apps your children have access to at school.

     Our counselors, Kay Weems and Renee Williams, focus on teaching our Mavericks about important character traits each month.  This month our students are learning about responsibility through our core essentials program.

    We have started a program at Mannsdale where we put one K-2 teacher and one 3-5 teacher in the spotlight each week.  This is where we "spill the beans" about the teachers and get to know them a little better.

    One thing you want everyone to know about you:  Autumn is my favorite time of year:  MSU football, tailgating, gator riding and a blazing fire are some of my favorite things in the world.

    One thing you want everyone to know about you:  I love my job and I wouldn't do anything else.  My kids at school make me want to come to school every day!
