  • Teachers of the Week

We have started a new program at Mannsdale where we put one K-2 teacher and one 3-5 teacher in the spotlight each week.  This is where we "spill the beans" about the teachers and get to know them a little better.

Favorite Book:  Anything by Nicholas Sparks
Something people might not know about you: I was a librarian for 1 year and I was a Delta Debutante.
Best advice you ever received:  Always be yourself, no matter what others say or do.  Trust in the Lord.

Something people may not know about you:  I once wrote a letter to the 41st President, George H. W. Bush.  He was kind enough to respond and even sent an autographed picture.
Best advice you ever received:  It's perfectly fine not to be like everyone else.  You are an original- embrace who God has made you to be.
One thing you want everyone to know about you: I am naturally a very serious person but I can't go a single day without dancing and singing.  Life is meant to be enjoyed!
