  • Mississippi Blues Fun Run

    We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, January 10, 2015 for the Mississippi Blues Marathon Kids' One-Mile Fun Run! Registration  for the race has been extended and is now available through Thursday, November 20 by clicking here (http://www.msbluesmarathon.com/kids-race-registration.html). As a Get Ready to Run School Participant, you will not pay the registration fee when you sign up during those dates. Please follow the steps to complete your child's online registration, including selecting their school from the drop down menu.  Please email Coach Webb at  jwebb@madison-schools with any questions or if you have trouble completing the registration process.

  • Mannsdale Reading Fair

    The Mannsdale Reading Fair is open to all students in grades K-5. Our fair will be held Friday, January 16. The purpose of the Reading Fair is to promote a love of reading.  Winners from each category will advance to the District Reading Fair on Thursday, January 22 at Germantown High School. For more details, visit the Mannsdale Library section of our website.

  • Character Education

     Our counselors, Kay Weems and Renee Williams, focus on teaching our Mavericks about important character traits each month.  This month our students are learning about responsibility through our core essentials program.

    We have started a new program at Mannsdale where we put one K-2 teacher and one 3-5 teacher in the spotlight each week.  This is where we "spill the beans" about the teachers and get to know them a little better.
    Getting to know 2nd grade teacher- Dayna Word

    Favorite Book:  Extravagant Grace
    Something people might not know about you: I have lived in 8 states.
    Best advice you ever received: "Life is not fair."
    One thing you want people to know about you:  I love God, my family, my class and Mannsdale!

    As we pause to count our blessings, it is the perfect time to say, "Thank You" for allowing us to care for and educate your children.  
     
    Thanksgiving Holiday is scheduled for Monday, November 24 through Friday, November 28. Students will report back to school on Monday, December 1.
