Welcome Message
Germantown Middle School Media Center strives to be a place where students may relax and enjoy all that a library has to offer. Our mission is to make each student's experiences at our library positive, and to assist in creating pleasant, positive, learning experiences for each student. We welcome students to come in as needed to conduct research and borrow from our book collection.
Library Policies
The library is open Monday-Friday mornings from 7:45-8:15, and every day during break for checkout/computer usage
Students may check out 2 books at a time for up to 14 days. Books may be renewed, but students must bring the book in with them to do so
A fine of $0.05 per day will be assessed for all books overdue
If a book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for the replacement cost of that book
Students may use the library printer at a cost of $0.10 per page
About the Teacher
I graduated from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, and received my Master's Degree in Administration & Supervision and Library Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I taught for 11 years in Tennessee before moving to Mississippi in 2002. This is my 9th year to teach in the Madison County School District, and I also coach volleyball and girls track here at Germantown Middle.
I have two beautiful daughters, Katie and Emma, ages 19 and 14, and a miniature Daschund named Drake.
