Dear Parents and Students,

 

Welcome to Rosa Scott class of 2016! I am very excited about the transition of another outstanding freshman Jaguar class. I cannot thank our parents and PTO members enough for the great start to this upcoming year. We already have several hundred PTO memberships, which is an example of the great support our community shows for its children and schools. if you are looking for a way to be a part of your child's freshman year, then be sure to join the PTO and volunteer for the many functions, activities, and events that our PTO sponsors.   

 

As we look for ways to increase our students' knowledge and skills, it is very important that our students complete the summer reading assignment. Look on the home page of our website for information about the reading list. Remember, it will be tested during your first English class in August.

 

Early schedule pick up for PTO members will be Tuesday, July 24th, from 4-6 pm at Rosa School School. PTO members may receive a coy of their child's schedule on that date. Regular schedule pick up will be Thursday, August 2nd, from 4-6. The building will be available to tour at this time, so that students may become familiar with A and B class locations. There will also be an opportunity to do a prayer walk around Rosa Scott as we ask for blessings for the upcoming year.

 

Let me also say thank you for allowing me to be your child's principal. It is an honor to be a part of such an outstanding school and community and a responsiblity that I take very seriously. We are expecting this year to be an exciting, productive, and memorable experience as your child transitions to high school.
