is officially over.
VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO:
Every football season there are a handful of brave Band Boosters who graciously agree to take charge of running, or helping to run the concession stand. As many of you know, the concession stand is the financial lifeblood of our band during the fall season and provides most of the revenue for each fiscal year; because of that, the concession stand demands many hours of planning, sweating, cooking, taking and filling orders. We are so proud and thankful for the following boosters for their work in the concession stand, and beyond this football/marching season!
- The 2016 Concession Stand Manager:
Mrs. Cathy Cauthen
John Stoker- Food orders/stocking and inventory
John Williams- took propane tanks to be filled each week
Michael Barker- grilling crew chief
Gene Fortenberry and Kim Waddy- Pepsi and Sysco Deliveries
Ellen Hazelwood- Sam's food purchases and Feed the band
The 30+ different boosters who worked the concession stand each game. Thank you to EVERY ONE who worked FOR our band and our students.
We are awaiting final numbers, but at last calculation, we were on track before Friday's play-off game to have a record year for concession stand sales- which would be the most in 6 years.
It is because of the work, planning and commitment of the concession stand manager, Cathy Cauthen and her team on concession stand committee that we are able to have such a successful operation!
Last but certainly not least, we would like to acknowledge and thank the
2016-2017 Germantown Band Booster Executive Committee!
Mary Hudgens- President
Kelli Colley- Vice President
Amelia Barker- Secretary
Dawn and Will Gray- Treasurer
These 5 boosters have worked behind the scenes as well, doing what ever was needed where ever it was needed to ensure that not only the concession stand had what it needed, but also everything the band students and directors needed for a successful marching season-- sometimes when we didn't even know we needed it!
Thank you to the E.C., and Cathy Cauthen & the Concession Stand committee!
The band program owes you all a great deal of gratitude!
