French II

Course Description
French II is a course in which students build upon skills from French I by learning the past, imperfect, future, and conditional tenses. The students will learn more about customs, culture, and traditions.
French II students are those who have shown a particular interest and/or propensity toward the language and may be eager to pursue the study of French at the university level. Students entering French II are expected to have maintained at least a B average in French I coursework. French II continues to target key vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary for effective communication. Additionally, it begins to immerse students in more realistic Francophone environments through building relationships with French students their age, becoming cultural liaisons, and learning through real interactions with real people.
