About the Teacher
My name is Elizabeth Jackson. I am from Crystal Springs, MS. I graduated with honors from Copiah Academy in 2000. I attended Mississippi State University. I earned a bachelor's of science degree in Elementary Education (K-8). I have a minor in English. I am also certified to teach K-12 reading/English. I have been a kindergarten teacher for eight years. I taught kindergarten for five years in Crystal Springs. I have taught kindergarten at Mannsdale for three years. I participated in: the Kindergarten Conference for five years, The MS Reading First Focused Instruction on Reading Skills conference, Kindergarten Reading Academy, Mississippi Teacher Renewal Institute, and Student Teacher Supervisory Training at the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi College. I have mentored and tutored after school students in grades K-3. I enjoy traveling, reading, art, and music. I have a wonderful family. I have two brothers, two sister-in-laws, a niece and a nephew, and an awesome sister. I also teach swim lessons year round at Maley's Swim School. Mrs. Carolyn Smith is the best assisstant ever.
About the Assistant
My name is Carrolyn Smith. I am from Canton, MS. I am married and have three children. I enjoy shopping and watchingTV. This is my fourth year at Mannsdale. I love being Ms. Jackson's assistant.
