         My name is Dee Self and I will be teaching STEM this year. I graduated from Mississippi College with a B.S. in Marketing and Education. I have taught technology at Rosa Scott for 4 years.This past year I received my IC3 and COOL certification in order to teach STEM. I am excited to be a part of this inaugural year of STEM and I know students will enjoy the challenge.

STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) is a rigorous college prep course that focuses on 21st century skills. All concepts taught are relevant to the workplace. There are 10 STEM units that can be found in my STEM handbook. These units will build upon each other and are not taught exclusively.
