Welcome Message

Welcome to second grade at Madison Ave.  Second grade is a great year for students.  Most children experience a surge in knowledege and confidence in second grade.  You will see an increase in reading skills and  math computation.  Many students become enthusiastic learners who develop more advanced social skills. I have been a teacher at Madison Ave. for nineteen years. I have a B.S.degree from Miss. College.  I have twenty-three years teaching experince. I am married with one son who is living in Nashville following graduation from Ole Miss.  Teaching has been a lifelong profession for me.  As a teacher I continue to learn from  my students and peers daily.
