Next week, we have our nine weeks test. For your test, you will present an impromptu speech. you will be give the opportunity to practice your sppeches while i am out of town later this week.

Your rough drafts for your persuasive speech are due in class on Thursday, September 6th. Please choose something interesting, but not divisive.

You will deliver your speeches in class on Moday, September 10th. Eachspeech should be about 3-5 minutes in length. The speech will be a major test grade.

Your rough draft is due in class tomorrow. You will present your speech for the class. As a group, we will make suggestions for improvement. You will present your speeches for a test grade on Tuesday, August 28th.

Be sure to come to class on Thursday with a topic proposal for your informative speech. You could even do a liitle preliminary research if you really want to get ahead of the game.
