Welcome Message

Welcome to Madison Middle School.  I am the Functional Special Education teacher for grades 6, 7, and 8.  My room is located on the eighth grade hallway in room 821.  I am excited to be teaching your student, and I look forward to a great year in our classroom!

About the Teacher

My name is Rebecca (Becky) Odom.  I have been teaching for twenty years, and this is my twelfth year at Madison Middle.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, which includes Learning Disabilities, Educable Mentally Retarded, Trainable Mentally Retarded, Severe/Profound Mentally Retarded, and Emotionally Disturbed.  I have a Master's Degree in Special Education in the area of Deafblind.  I absolutely love what I teach, and my greatest reward is to see progress in my students from year to year.  Thank you for trusting your precious student to my care!  We will have a wonderful, productive year.
