Mrs. Mac
Welcome Message
Welcome to Senior English. I know you have waited many years to reach this point in your academic career. Although graduation is not until May 28, 2011, the weeks and months will pass much too quickly. As a result, class each day will be filled with lessons on grammar, literature, and composition. There will be time for projects to be presented, for tests to be taken, and for information to be gathered and thoroughly discussed. You will be expected to be present and prepared for class each day. Participation is an important part of your success in English IV. In addition, homework will be scheduled and graded. It is not optional. All I expect from you is your best. Each student I teach this year has the ability not only to succeed but to excel. Your grade each nine weeks will reflect the time and the effort that you put forth. Make every effort to prioritize for English from the beginning of the year and to strive to do your best work. Teaching is my passion. Nothing will make me happier this year than to watch you walk across the stage on graduation day.
Have a wonderful year in English IV, and be sure to let me know when you need help so that we can schedule a time for instruction and discussion.
Manage and monitor your own success consistently. College is only a few months away.
Thank you for allowing me to teach you this year.
Marilyn McMillan (Mrs. MAC)
